把一首
在抽屉里锁了三十年的情诗
投入火中
字
被烧得吱吱大叫
灰烬一言不发
它相信
总有一天
那人将在风中读到

To throw a love poem
Locked in a drawer for thirty years
Into the fire
Words
Was burnt to yelling
Ashes do not say a word
It believes
One day
The lover will read it in the wind

《因为风的缘故》

昨日我沿着河，
漫步到，
芦苇弯腰喝水的地方。
顺便请烟囱，
在天空为我写一封长长的信，
潦是潦草了些。
而我的心意，
则明亮如你窗前的烛光，
稍有暧昧之处，
势所难免，
因为风的缘故。
此信你能否看懂并不重要，
重要的是，
你务必在雏菊尚未全部凋零之前，
赶快发怒，或者发笑。
赶快从箱子里找出我那件薄衫子，
赶快对镜梳你那又黑又柔的妩媚，
然后以整生的爱，
点燃一盏灯。
我是火，
随时可能熄灭，
因为风的缘故。

Because of the Wind

Yesterday along the river I
Took a stroll
to the place where reeds bent over to drink water
By the way, to ask chimney,
To write a long letter for me in the sky
Though it’s a bit careless
My mind,
Is as bright as a candlelight in front of your window
Just a little shady
This is inevitable
Because of the wind
It doesn’t matter you can understand the letter or not
It is important that
You must be sure that before the daisy don’t completely wither
Quickly get angry or laugh
Quickly find out my thin shirt from the suitcase
Quickly comb your black and soft charm
Then with the love of whole life
Light a light
I am a fire
It may extinguish at any time
Because of the wind

About Translator Sophy Chen

Sophy Chen, her name, Lihua and family name, Chen, is the Chinese contemporary poetess, translator, and American English “Legendary Poet”. She is the founder of “Sophy Poetry & Translation Website”, “Sophy Poetry & Translation” Magazine and “Sophy International Translation Publishing House”. She is the founder and leading lecturer of “Sophy English Forum”. She graduated from English Institute of Xian Foreign Studies University in English Literature.
She won the annual “International Best Translator” Award 2012 （C-E） and the Chinese Contemporary Poetry (2013-2014) Translation Award（C-E）. PENTASI B WORLD FEATURED POET 2018（E-E）.
She won the annual “International Best Translator” Award 2012 and the Chinese Contemporary Poetry (2013-2014) Translation Award.
She translated and published six Chinese poetry collections into English, The Flower Swaying (2014) , The Tibetan Incense(2014), The Outlook of Life (2014), The Different Tunes (2014), The Body Forward (2015), and A Poetry Biography for White Snake (2015), etc.
