Isaac Cohen, a poet, was born in Beer- Sheva, Israel, in 1960. He lives in Tel Aviv. He has received several prizes. He is a member of “Voices Israel”. He participated in many festivals of poetry reading in the world. His works were translated to Spanish, Tamil, Russian, Philippine, Italian, Hindi, Polish, Romanian and Hebrew. His translated poems are selected in “Sophy Chen’s Translation · World Poetry Yearbook 2021202220232024”(C-E Bilingual)，etc.

Now he’s used to light up the oil, salt and rice of a family
In this day when the law of gravity has no longer been applied
A dog feels warm when he sees a piece of gold
The sun is still running, towards his destined destination
He only illuminates some dark times
Only all the living things will run outside of his light circle
The earth disintegrates in the reactor of matter, and the wheat field
Along with the newborn sun, have been vanishing without a trace
So many suns have died, some one who else
Would dare to embrace him and dream of purity and death?
Some one who else is not struggling to survive in this splendid world?
Only at the moment when you’re disillusioned in this world, does the sunlight
Pour down from the painting of Van Gogh
That is the sun of Arles, leading you to the wheat field
Would you still use the sun's hands
To touch gently the thriving growing sunflowers there?
The sun of mortals
A stick in the vast commonness
Some one who else can use the flowing water of May, refusing to its death

The whole mountain with blooming peach blossoms, have been turning red as a piece of sea
It seems like a piece of red cloud from the sky
Covering the hills and valleys of the "Mountain and Countryside Ecological Farm"
Walking through the peach orchard
Watching the butterflies dancing
Looking the bees gracefully fluttering
The fragrant aroma of the blossoms blowing in the gentle breeze
Along with the peach honey made by the bees
Have made me totally drunk
The layers of peach trees on the hillside
Reflect in the pond at the foot of the mountain
The pond has been turning into a shallow pool of pale pink
