Why do they ignore the clitoris when half the world has it?
the lovers don’t care, the doctors don’t talk
it’s no leaf that falls on the wave’s crest
and rots on the shore before they prescribe
a chocolate remedy or testosterone cream
to revive in dapple light:
denial is the way of life
be it desire, emotion, or frailty
for conformity, unity and control
the redness of the setting or rising sun
is too much to the drab colours of the priests
who accuse of heresy, witchcraft or immorality
to shut the socalled hot beds of sedition
when all they seek is stoppage
of the show of teeth, blood and skull
in the spinning wheel
condemned to nursing home

I do not know whether I am a green bird
with spread wings encrusted jewels
Or a slippery eel standing up with her tail?
Bewilderedly enter the world
Missing your earth passionately.
I held my breath in imagination for hours
To live and overcome the restless of sprouting buds
Broken this silence
By the other silence
Quieter and deeper
Let me know,
are they the same wavelength?
Like when I cry
The river remains breathless for a few seconds.
Regretting for self-murder of water drop on the grass.
On the cold sand beach
Waves are eating the ripening first fruits
Like my eyes have just cried
When trembling saying that
In front of the absolutely pure ground
I will take off this sacred body
Just to become a little flower
Grows on the world’s retina
And the blood from petal of flowers
spill for salvation.

In malnutrition, the hospitals are not free
I want to go there, but it is a long way to go
Countless Xiao He are chasing Han Xin along the way

I watch the setting sun falling suddenly
The radiance on my face died out quickly
The birds lingering in my memory

The dodging stars make the world
As quiet as a failed businessman
At this time the moon is like a fair lady
She took a long time for her calm and natural face to show
In the autumn wind the crying of a baby
Mixed with the ballads of young girls
The bell of Dongsan Temple
Is it a dream or an ethereal greeting
Lying at an angle on the soft hillside
As lying in a woman’s arms

Sophy Chen, Lihua Chen, born in Lueyang, Hanzhong, Shannxi Province, China, is the Chinese contemporary poet, translator, publisher and world poetry manager. She graduated from English Institute of Xi'an International Studies University in English Literature. She is the founder of Sophy Chen World Poetry Awards, the President of Sophy International Translation Publishing House, Sophy Chen World Poetry Museum, the Chief Editor and Translator of Sophy Chen's Translation World Poetry Yearbook (C-E Bilingual), Sophy Poetry & Translation(C-E) World Poetry Paper Magazine, and Sophy Poetry & World Translation Websites. Sophy Chen is Admin Of PENTASI B World Friendship Poetry, a Member of the Translators Association of China, and a Member of the World Nations Writers Union, Kazakhstan. Sophy Chen is appointed as a Honorary Membership of PABLO NERUDA ASSOCIAZIONE CULTURALE and Jury Of “Il Parnaso - Angelo La Vecchia Award” of Italy.
