The rain sings as it wets my face and hair.
It's an occasional nostalgic companion.
Flashing lights illuminate my path.
Tarnished glass reflects my lost soul.
You become my longing, as I caress the damp plush.
I remember how I lose myself in the universe of your eyes,
letting myself be carried away by the hallucinating touch of your lips.
I surrender myself to your fleeting arms, big and strong,
melting myself lost in your coat, as I long for your warmth.
Thoughts of mine, I pray they don't go away yet.
May my mind manage to retain them.
Infinite walk embroidered with water stars,
Time in missing you seems so short.
That's my enemy.
You are my fantasy and that magic that melts into a wish.

The snow came to the world in a flurry
It is for the dancing melody

A secret about the sky
Is passing among countless snowflakes

Sophy Chen, Lihua Chen, born in Lueyang, Hanzhong, Shannxi Province, China, is the Chinese contemporary poet, translator, publisher and world poetry manager. She graduated from English Institute of Xi'an International Studies University in English Literature. She is the founder of Sophy Chen World Poetry Awards, the President of Sophy International Translation Publishing House, Sophy Chen World Poetry Museum, the Chief Editor and Translator of Sophy Chen's Translation World Poetry Yearbook (C-E Bilingual), Sophy Poetry & Translation(C-E) World Poetry Paper Magazine, and Sophy Poetry & World Translation Websites. Sophy Chen is Admin Of PENTASI B World Friendship Poetry, a Member of the Translators Association of China, and a Member of the World Nations Writers Union, Kazakhstan.
