Chinese poet, translator, founder and chief editor of “Sophy & Poetry Translation”E-C bilingual international magazine, SOPHY CHEN and Philippine poet, the Father of Visual Poetry, and the founder of PENTASI B World Poetry Fellowship,DOC PENPEN officially signed the globall memorandum of commitment for CHINA WORLD POETREE FESTIVAL 2019, in Philippine capital, Manila, on July 30, 2018.
The memorandum includes a certificate of recognation, a stone plaque of recognation and a huge book with Sophy Chen’s poetry and correspondence of Sophy Chen with DOC PENPEN. Its length: 91 cm, width: 63 cm;weight: 12.5kg. Hard shell covers and plastic sealing pages.
The signing of this global memorandum, that is to say PENTASI B world poetry fellowship has formally authorized Chinese poet and translator Sophy Chen for “CHINA WORLD POETREE FESTIVAL 2019” as host,organizer and sponsor of China who will be fully responsible for the event planning, event sponsorship, poetry collection, guest invitation, search for the third party sponsors and affairs coordination in mainland China, etc.
It is also a good beginning for the visionary Chinese folk poetry organizations and international translators. They have fully integrated into the international poetry world and carried out interactive communication with international poetry.
As the declaration of PENTASI B World Fellowship, CHINA WORLD POETREE FESTIVAL 2019, Mainland China, 2019 “…Building Bridges of Friendship, for Global Harmony & Understanding, among People of All Nations”. I hope that Chinese folk poetry and translation can flourish from now on, promote global harmony and understanding, and build a long and lasting friendship bridge between Chinese people and world people of all nations.

中国诗人、翻译家、《苏菲诗歌&翻译》英汉双语国际期刊创始人和主编苏菲，与菲律宾诗人、视觉诗歌之父、PENTASI B 世界诗歌联谊会创始人朋朋博士，就“中国·世界诗歌节2019”于2018年7月30日在菲律宾首都马尼拉正式面向全球签署承诺备忘录。
备忘录包括一张纸质授权证书、一块石头制作的授权纪念牌和一本收录有苏菲与朋朋博士往来信件内文和苏菲诗歌作品的巨型书。巨书长91厘米，宽63厘米; 重25斤，封面封底硬壳，内页塑封页面。
此次全球备忘录的签署，标志着中国诗人翻译家苏菲正式被PENTASI B 世界诗歌联谊会授权为“中国·世界诗歌节2019”中国大陆主办方、组织人和赞助人，全面负责中国大陆活动策划、活动赞助、诗歌作品征集、嘉宾邀请、寻找第三方赞助人和事务协调等。
这也标志着具有远见卓识的中国民间诗歌组织及国际翻译家个体，全面融入国际诗坛，与国际诗歌开展互动交流的良好开端。

About Translator Sophy Chen
Sophy Chen, her name, Lihua and family name, Chen, born in Lueyang, Hanzhong, Shannxi Provinve, China, is the Chinese contemporary poetess, translator, and American English “Legendary Poet”. She is the founder of “Sophy Poetry & Translation Website”, “Sophy Poetry & Translation” International Magazine and “Sophy International Translation Publishing House” and the founder and leading lecturer of “Sophy English Forum”. She graduated from English Institute of Xian Foreign Studies University in English Literature. She began to write Chinese poetry in 1989 and English poetry in 2004, and she began to translate Chinese Poetry into English poetry and English poetry into Chinese poetry in 2005. She won the annual “International Best Translator” Award 2012(C-E)and the Chinese Contemporary Poetry (2013-2014) Translation Award(C-E). PENTASI B World Featured Poet 2018(E-E) She translated and published six Chinese poetry collections into English, The Flower Swaying (2014) , The Tibetan Incense(2014), The Outlook of Life (2014), The Different Tunes (2014), The Body Forward (2015), and A Poetry Biography for White Snake (2015), etc. Her English original poetry collection, Sophy English Sonnets, Tuberose, only 8 poems, published in Amazon in E-book.
