In 2018, "Sophy Poetry & Translation" (E-C) magazine translated and edited by Sophy Chen was published and sent to Philippines, Ghana, Tunisia and India and collected by their government libraries and official schools and brought the poems of contemporary poets in China (and other countries) to the poets and readers in English speaking nations. In July 2018, Sophy Chen was invited to visit Philippines and won the official authorization on "PENTASI B China World Poetry Festival 2019" successfully held in mainland China in 2019 from Doc PenPen, the founder of PENTASI B.
The little effort I have made is nothing more than my love of language and poetry. I hope to help more Chinese and foreign poets build a friendly and interconnected bridge, and let Chinese poetry and literature go to the world more faster.
The insignificant efforts in the world poetry can be seen in the eyes of foreign poetry and literary field. This is a matter of joy. On the last day of 2018, India, a great country that gave birth to the Nobel Prize winner, Tagore, sent me a poetry award (or honor) –MEWADEV LAUREL AWARD – 2018 【International Icon of Literature】. Sophy, I, thank them for their recognition and respect for me! I am grateful to the Indian poets for their bold discovery and the silent efforts of poets around the world.

2018年，苏菲翻译并主编的《苏菲诗歌&翻译》（英汉双语）杂志创刊出版，已先后成功送达菲律宾、加纳、突尼斯、印度四国，并被当地政府图书馆、官方学校收藏，向英语世界的诗人和读者们带去了中国（及世界其它国家）当代优秀诗人的诗歌。2018年七月苏菲应邀出访菲律宾，获得PENTASI B 创始人Doc PenPen就2019年在中国大陆成功举办“PENTASI B 2019中国世界诗歌节”的官方授权书。
我所做的这一点点努力，无非是凭着一份对语言和诗歌的热爱，希望帮助更多的中外诗人搭建一座友好互通的桥梁，让中国的诗歌和文学更快地走向世界。
在世界诗坛微不足道的努力，竟然能被国外诗坛和文坛看在眼里，这是一件值得欣喜的事情。在2018年的最后一天，印度这个孕育了诺贝尔文学奖得主——泰戈尔的伟大国度，给我发来了一个诗歌奖（或荣誉）——2018米瓦德威桂冠奖 国际文学偶像。苏菲，我，感谢他们对我的认可和尊重！感谢印度诗人大胆地发现，也感谢全世界诗人对诗歌的默默付出。

About Sophy Chen
Sophy Chen, her name, Lihua and family name, Chen, born in Lueyang, Hanzhong, Shannxi Provinve, China, is the Chinese contemporary poet, translator, and American English “Legendary Poet”. She graduated from English Institute of Xi’an Foreign Studies University in English Literature. She is the founder of “Sophy Poetry & Translation Website”, “Sophy Poetry & Translation”(C-E) Magazine and “Sophy International Translation Publishing House” and the founder and leading lecturer of “Sophy English Forum”. She began to write Chinese poetry in 1989 and English poetry in 2004, and translate Chinese Poetry into English poetry and English poetry into Chinese poetry in 2005. She won the annual “International Best Translator” Award 2012(C-E), the Chinese Contemporary Poetry (2013-2014) Translation Award(C-E), PENTASI B WORLD FEATURED POET 2018(E-E) and PENTASI B WORLD INSPIRATIONAL POET 2018(E-E).
She translated and published six Chinese poetry collections into English, The Flower Swaying (2014), The Tibetan Incense(2014), The Outlook of Life (2014), The Different Tunes (2014), The Body Forward (2015), and A Poetry Biography for White Snake (2015). She published an English poetry collection, Sophy English Sonnets, Tuberose (2018). She eidited and translated “Sophy Poetry & Translation” (C-E) Magazine. Sophy Chen is the Host-Organizer & Sponsor of CHINA WORLD POETREE FESTIVAL 2019, PENTASI B World Fellowship, Mainland China, 2019.

苏菲（Sophy Chen），本名陈丽华，中国当代诗人、翻译家。美国英语“传奇诗人”。生于陕西汉中略阳；毕业于西安外国语大学英文学院。“苏菲诗歌&翻译网”、纸刊 “苏菲诗歌&翻译”(英汉双语）杂志社、“苏菲国际翻译出版社”创建人。“苏菲英语讲坛”创办者兼主讲人。 1989年开始汉语诗歌写作、2004年开始英语诗歌写作、2005年开始英汉双语诗歌翻译。 获2012年度“国际最佳翻译家奖”（评选语言英汉双语）。“中国当代诗歌奖”（2013—2014）翻译奖（评选语言英汉双语）。获PENTASI B世界杰出诗人奖2018（评选语言英语）。PENTASI B 世界精神诗人奖2018（评选语言英语）。
