随着全球经济一体化进程的推进，东西方源于价值观、文化差异之间的隔阂与冲突并未消解，而人类生活与命运愈发休戚与共，诗歌越趋现代化、生活化和全球化。除了政治经济、文化传统、语言习惯等差异变化，国际诗歌面临的人类精神命题始终不变。
各国诗人要走向国际，通过诗歌促进全球和谐与理解，必须通过翻译家和诗人们的共同努力。而随着国际诗歌交流的日趋频繁，诗歌翻译与国际化传播成为一个至关重要的课题。
如何定义“国际诗歌”或“全球化诗歌”或“世界诗歌”？ 全球化的诗歌应当承担怎样的人类共同使命与精神愿景？如何在多元化的价值体系中求同存异，充分尊重人性与尊严，倡导普世价值观，最终构建人类精神与命运共同体？
如何在尊重自身文化传统、消解语言隔阂与缩小文化冲突的基础上，既展现独具魅力的本民族文化精髓，又通过翻译或转译成为备受关注的“国际诗歌”？
如何挖掘母语创作中最有价值的部分？怎样进行双语（或多语）诗歌创作，如何保留、平衡或转换本族语的文化精髓，削减与外来语间的语言与文化差异？
诗歌翻译是否需要、或如何保留外来语的诗歌语言魅力，打造双语的经典诗歌？国际诗歌整体传播可行的方式、方法与策略有哪些？视觉、音画等多元艺术的融入如何更好地推动诗歌的国际传播？
时值Pentasi B 2019中国世界诗歌节暨苏菲世界诗歌奖来临之际，为进一步凸显本次诗歌节的世界性规格与国际性诗歌节水准，举办一场名副其实的国际诗坛群英荟萃、为国际诗歌翻译与全球化传播献计献策的世界盛会，特在此期间举办国际诗歌研讨会/中外诗人联合座谈会。该会议的核心主题有二：
（一）国际诗歌与人类精神共同体
（二）诗歌、母语、翻译与国际化推广
现特向中外汉学家、国际诗歌评论家、国际诗人、国际翻译家、国际翻译评论家征集学术论文、诗歌评论、翻译评论稿件。具体事宜说明如下：
1)来稿可围绕上述核心主题中的一个来进行宏观阐发论述，需要有理有据，架构条理清晰，具有针对性和切实可行性;论文标题自拟。
2)也可围绕本次Pentasi B 2019中国-世界诗歌节暨苏菲世界诗歌奖提名诗人和嘉宾诗人诗歌作品为主要评论对象,以点带面进行评述（相关作品随后依次公布）。
3.为了便于会场发言、节省发言时间、便于同传人员现场翻译和各大报刊刊载。学术论文、诗歌评论和翻译评论不超过3000字（如字数超出1/4以上，可先提交减缩版便于诗歌节论文专刊刊印，以后在《苏菲诗歌&翻译》（英汉双语）国际期刊刊出。论文要简明扼要，请用归纳法写作（文前须有摘要或梗概）。
4.论文作者请提供作者所属领域专业简介300字以内。作者国籍、姓名、住址、邮箱、电话等，以便及时联系。
形象照1-2张（拍摄角度腰围以上，专业摄像机专业拍摄，大尺寸，不能直接粘贴到文档，要单独发附件）。
5.所有论文要提交本次诗歌节组委会《苏菲诗歌&翻译》杂志编委会审核甄选，入选国际诗歌研讨会/中外诗人联合座谈会的优秀论文将由苏菲赞助翻译，英汉对照或汉英对照刊印成《Pentasi B 2019中国-世界诗歌节暨苏菲世界诗歌奖国际诗歌研讨会/中外诗人联合座谈会 论文集》，论文作者将受邀参加本次诗歌节及研讨会/座谈会，由作者亲自现场阐述自己的论文。
6.研讨会语言：英汉双语（会务口译1-2人）。研讨会将为不能英汉双语发言的中外汉学家、国际诗歌评论家、国际诗人、国际翻译家、国际翻译评论家配备同声传译，现场翻译。具有汉英双语语言演讲能力的发言人请你英汉双语发言，以减少同传的会场翻译压力。

With the advancement of the global economic integration process, the gaps and conflicts between the East and the West from the values and cultural differences have not been resolved, but human life and destiny have become more and more common, and poetry also has become more modern, living and globalized. In addition to the differences in politics, economy, cultural traditions, and language habits, etc., the poetry of human spiritual proposition is always unchanged.
If the poets of all countries want to go to international poetry field and promote global harmony and understanding, it must do by the joint efforts of translators and poets. With the increasing exchange of international poetry, poetry translation and international communication have become a crucial topic.
How to define”international poetry”or”global poetry”or”world poetry”? What kind of human common mission and spiritual vision should be undertaken by global poetry? How to seek common ground, fully respect humanity and dignity, and advocate world values, and ultimately build a community of human spirit and destiny in a pluralistic value system?
On the basis of respecting one’s own cultural traditions, eliminating language barriers and narrowing cultural conflicts, how it not only shows the unique charm of the essence of the national culture, but also the national poetry becomes a highly regarded “international poetry” through translation.
How to find the most valuable part of native language creation? How to have bilingual (or multilingual) poetry creation, how to preserve, balance or transform the cultural essence of the native language, and reduce the language and cultural differences between foreign languages?
Poetry needs to be translated or not or how does poetry translation preserve the poetic language charm of foreign languages and create the bilingual classic poetry? What are the ways, methods and strategies for the overall communication of international poetry? How can the integration of multiple arts better promote the international spread of poetry such as vision, sound and painting?
At the time of Pentasi B 2019 China’s World Poetry Festival And Sophy Chen Poetry Awards, in order to further highlight world-wide specifications and international poetry standards of this poetry event, host a world-class event in the international poetry world, and contribute to the international poetry translation and globalization, we will hold an international poetry seminar/Chinese and foreign poet joint seminar during this period. The core theme of the conference is two parts:
(1) International Poetry and the Community of Human Spirit
(2) Poetry, mother tongue, translation and internationalization promotion
Now we invite you, Chinese and foreign sinologists, international poetry critics, international poets, international translators, and international translation critics to submit your academic papers, poetry reviews, and translation reviews. The specific matters are as follows:
1)The manuscript can be written about one of the above core themes, which needs to be well-founded, well-structured, targeted and practical; the title of the paper is self-designed.
2.Your articles can be written about the poetry of our poetry guests or poetry of our nominated poets for the Pentasi B 2019 China-World Poetry Festival And Sophy Chen World Poetry Awards as the main comment material (the related poems will be published later).
3.In order to be easy to speech, save speech time and be easy to on-site translation for simultaneous interpreters and publish in magazines and newspapers, the academic papers, the poetry comments and translation comments should not exceed 3000 words (If yours words exceeds 1/4, you can submit the reduced version first, to be easy to publish in the special issue of the poetry event, and later in”Sophy Poetry & Translation(E-C)”, the International Magazine. 6.Seminar language: English-Chinese bilingual (1-2 interpreters). The seminar will provide simultaneous interpretation and on-site translation for Chinese and foreign sinologists, international poetry critics, international poets, international translators, and international translation critics who cannot speak in English and Chinese bilingual. To reduce the pressure on simultaneous interpretation at the venue, if you can speak in Chinese-English bilingual, please speak in English and Chinese.

About Sophy Chen
Sophy Chen, her name, Lihua and family name, Chen, born in Lueyang, Hanzhong, Shannxi Provinve, China, is the Chinese contemporary poet, translator, and American English “Legendary Poet”. She graduated from English Institute of Xi’an Foreign Studies University in English Literature. She is the founder of “Sophy Poetry & Translation Website”, Paper “Sophy Poetry & Translation”(C-E) Magazine and “Sophy International Translation Publishing House” and the founder and leading lecturer of “Sophy English Forum”. She began to write Chinese poetry in 1989 and English poetry in 2004, and translate Chinese Poetry into English poetry and English poetry into Chinese poetry in 2005. She won the annual “International Best Translator” Award 2012(C-E), the Chinese Contemporary Poetry (2013-2014) Translation Award(C-E), PENTASI B WORLD FEATURED POET 2018(E-E) and PENTASI B WORLD INSPIRATIONAL POET 2018(E-E). International Icon of Literature of “MEWADEV LAUREL AWARD – 2018”, India(E-E).
She translated and published six Chinese poetry collections into English, The Flower Swaying (2014), The Tibetan Incense(2014), The Outlook of Life (2014), The Different Tunes (2014), The Body Forward (2015), and A Poetry Biography for White Snake (2015).
